Meanwhile, smart water systems utilizing IoT and big data analytics have achieved intelligent management of the entire water supply process, significantly improving supply efficiency while reducing pipeline leakage rates. These technological advancements not only ensure residents’ drinking water safety but also provide new solutions for sustainable urban development.
Globally, high-quality water supply practices are being implemented worldwide. In developing countries, technologies like solar-powered pumps provide reliable clean water sources for remote areas, while in developed countries, intelligent control systems continuously optimize water supply efficiency. Looking ahead, the integration of low-carbon water plants and AI technology will further enhance the sustainability of water supply systems. The application of photovoltaic power generation and wastewater recycling technologies will significantly reduce energy consumption in water treatment plants. High-quality water supply is not just a technical issue, but a comprehensive challenge involving public health, environmental protection and resource utilization, requiring joint efforts from governments, enterprises and the public.
